Meet Emily

Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach and Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant

Goodnight Better Days was born during Emily’s third trimester with her son, James, in March 2025.

As a pediatric physical therapist assistant, certified pediatric sleep coach, and mom, Emily brings both professional experience and personal understanding to the families she serves. She understands that every child is different—and that what works for one family may not feel right for another.

Emily’s approach is rooted in compassion, flexibility, and individualized care. She believes parents know their children best and should never feel judged or left behind when it comes to sleep. Together, you’ll create a plan that is effective, realistic, and sustainable for your family.

Her goal? To help you feel confident in your approach to sleep, support your little one in developing healthy sleep habits, and bring more peaceful nights and fuller days into your home.

to Goodnight Better Days

At Goodnight Better Days, I believe healthy sleep is built through connection, consistency, and confidence—not fear or rigid expectations.

My approach is rooted in gentle, evidence-informed sleep coaching that respects each child’s unique temperament, developmental stage, and your family’s values.

I partner with parents to create realistic, sustainable sleep solutions that support healthy sleep habits while honoring the parent-child bond. Through compassionate guidance and individualized support, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and supported throughout your child’s sleep journey.

Because a good night’s sleep leads to the best days together.

Welcome

how it works

The association fading method

1: Get to Know Your Family

We start by learning about your little one, your current sleep challenges and associations, your family’s goals, and what feels realistic for you.

Sleep associations are things we need in order to fall asleep (i.e.. dark room, white noise, cozy PJs, rocking, being held, pacifier etc.).

Please note, sleep associations are NOT inherently bad, they can actually be a really good thing! They can become problematic when:

A) it difficult for them to fall asleep independently

B) it becomes unsustainable for the parent

C) keeps your little one from getting the consolidated sleep they need

2: Create Your Plan

The first few days we are just making sure they're getting the appropriate amount of rest AND at the right times. An exhausted baby cannot learn a new skill, at least not easily and with minimal tears .

Once your little one is well rested, we implement sleep strategies through out Association Fading method.

3: Put It Into Practice

You’ll receive guidance and support as you implement your plan, make adjustments, and build sustainable sleep habits.

4: Better Nights, Brighter Days

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s helping your family find a sleep approach that works—and that you can feel confident continuing on your own.
